Updates on Upcoming International Holidays

For those conducting employment screening, please take note–

This is to inform you that most of the Indian Institutes would be shut on 29th March on account of Mahavir Jayanti.

It is one of the most important religious festivals for Jains and it celebrates the birth of Lord Mahavir.

Also, most international institutes would be shut on 30th Friday on account of Good Friday.

Additionally, in China, there will be holidays on 5th April and 6th April 2018 as China celebrates Ming Festival.

Corra Group Customizes Employment Screening Packages Domestically and Globally for Employers in the Technology Industry

Gustavson pointed out that employment screening for compliance mandates typically include criminal records checks, education verification, employment verification, and the global terror watch list. He noted that in the case of foreign employees, if the candidate has not worked in the United States for a minimum of seven years it is then required the employer conduct an international criminal check as well as education verification, no matter where the candidate attended college.
