Corra Group now offers is CDLIS background check at the same price point as it does is Motor Vehicle Records Searches, or MVR’s. The CDLIS is formally known as the Commercial Driver’s Information System and is put out by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, where records are databased in a comprehensive computer system that enables state driver licensing agencies (SDLAs) to ensure that each commercial driver has only one driver’s license and one complete driver record.
“We believe the CDLIS is a must for must commercial trucking and transportation firms, and we are offering this records background check at cost-effective rates,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. “This search provides truckers with valuable data from every state database.
“The CDLIS will verify a commercial’s driver’s license and will list both the state and the license number where the driver has held previous licenses,” said Gustavson. “So a trucking firm will know in about sixty seconds where the driver is illegally holding more than one license and the record history of the legitimate license he has previously maintained.”
Gustavson pointed out that Corra Group prices for the MVR is based on volume and is largely self-service. He noted how the driving records are databased in the user accounts for approximately three years and are always available and subject to review.
“We create for each trucking and transportation company their own account, and they can order at will,” said Gustavson. “It’s a very user-friendly system. In addition to the MVRs and CDLIS, we also trucking firms a full package of employment screening background checks, including criminal records and DOT Drug Testing and Random Management System for companies with a minimum thirty-five drivers.”
