Corra Group Sees Increase in DOT Employment Screening as Exports and Economy Improves

Corra Group has seen increases in its Department of Transportation related employment screening asexports and the economy show robust signs of improvement.    American exports recently amounted to almost $200 Billion, narrowing the domestic trade deficit to a four year low.

“With the increase in manufacturing and exports of goods and services we have seen a related increase in DOT compliant background checks,” said Corra Group Co-Founder, Nick Gustavson. “Ultimately, it is up to the trucking companies to deliver our goods to the docks for shipping overseas. Truckers are a key factor in making sure that American products reach their foreign destinations.”

Gustavson commented that Corra Group trucking and transportation clients have been telling him they are hiring in order to better service the manufacturing industry as well as the energy and oil companies. “Our clients can complain that good help is hard to find in the trucking industry,” Gustavson said. “Trucking clients experience heavy turnover, which requires constant access to the viable employment screening program so that they can remain compliant with the Department of Transportation.

“Corra Group offers Motor Vehicle Driving Records (MVRS) in all fifty states, as well as Canada, and Puerto Rico, at very competitive rates,” said Gustavson. In addition to the MVRs, we offer Fleet Alert. Fleet Alert’s user friendly software reports driver infractions in near real time. Should a driver have an accident, get a ticket, or have his license suspended, Fleet Alert will report it to the client. We offers batch order services for trucking’s annual MVR compliance needs.
