A Revisit on Industrial Espionage

Industrial espionage is increasingly a concern for employers.  Be it manufacturers of hard good or manufacturers of technology and related services, if your business is worth noting then you can be sure someone is out there thinking about acquiring your trade secrets.   In a bad economy, where businesses are watching every dollar, it stands to reason that some of the more nefarious types may find it more cost-effective to steal trade secrets than conduct their own research and development programs.

Some companies are more vulnerable than others.   But to believe your business is inured from industrial espionage or not particularly vulnerable to attack, then think again.  Most i9ndustrial espionage comes from inside jobs.
