Here is a list of different postings for the past week, concerning background checks, employment screening. It has been a strange week with the ongoing controversy about mandating background checks for the purchase of firearms, especially with respect to gun shows, and the rotten weather across the country, closing county courthouses. Good that the week is ending. Maybe smoother sailing next week. Perhaps the snow and cold will abate and researchers can get to the courthouse and start returning county criminal records searches at at reasonable turnaround time so those conducting employment screening can get their job applicants hired in this rebounding economy.
